Shillong Tours
Shillong is a small district in Meghalaya, the land of clouds. It is the centre of attraction as it is the capital of Meghalaya. The district is perched at an altitude of 1496 meters. The climate of the place and the hospitality of the people inhabiting Shillong make it an ideal holiday venue. Cherrapunji is the wettest place in the world and is at a distance of only 56 kilometers from Shillong. Every year in the month of April people perform a thanksgiving dance called Shad Sukmynsiem.

Elephant Falls is located at a distance of 12 kilometers from Shillong. It is a picturesque spot. The stream descends from the mountain through two main streams falling on fern covered rocks.
Ward's Lake is a scenic Lake famous for strolls and boating.
Shillong Peak is a beautiful lush green peak located at a distance of 10 kilometers from the city. The Peak stretches upto 1965 meters above sea level. It is the highest point in the State. Every night the Peak appears bejeweled with bright diamonds because of the lights coming from the houses.
Hydari Park is located near the mini zoo. Quite a large number of tourists are attracted to this place.
